Amanda is based in the Gascoyne Development Commission's Exmouth office and has been working with the GDC since June 2020.
Amanda is a Principal Regional Development Officer and her portfolios are natural resource and water management, marine infrastructure, housing, low carbon economies, environment and climate change. She has a B.Sc (Natural Resource Management) and Masters of Environmental Management and Development. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a Certified Economic Developer (ACEcD) and a member of Economic Development Australia.
She joined the GDC because she’s passionate about sustainable development and is interested in the relationships between people and their environment – including how natural capital supports our wellbeing.
On the weekends she loves to spend time outdoors in (and under) the water.
