Vaccination rates for the Gascoyne

Gascoyne vaccination rates currently lag behind that of the Perth metro area, this is particularly the case for the Gascoyne's Indigenous population.

Gascoyne vaccination rates are regularly reported in the Australian Government Department of Health SA23 Geographic Vaccination Rates report.

Vaccination rates for the Gascoyne's Indigenous population are regularly reported in the Australian Government Department of Health SA4 Vaccination Rates (AIR Indigenous Population) report. The Gascoyne is included in the Western Australia - Outback (South).

Proof of vaccination

As of January 31, 2022 proof of vaccination requirements have been expanded for Western Australia, including the Gascoyne region.

A range of materials have been produced to support individuals and business to provide and check proof of Vaccinations, COVID-19 Coronavirus: Getting proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.

A new ServiceWA app has also been developed to support the community to show proof of vaccination, SafeWA check in, and register travel into WA – all in the one place. A ServiceWA Stakeholder toolkit has been developed to support businesses, these are easy to download and print, and consist of how to guides and videos, flyers, social tiles and alike.

The Small Business Development Corporation have also put together these practical tips for managing proof of vaccination requirements.
